Jennifer Paratje Ranz’s Profile

Jenn, psychotherapist in Stirling
Qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Stirling, Scotland

Hi! I’m Jenn, a qualified Psychotherapist & Counsellor based in Stirling, Scotland, with a passion for the human psyche and how relationships shape our personality.

Since I was in my late teens, my dream was to become a psychologist and a psychotherapist. I wanted to know more about mental health, understand the mind and its complexities, and above all, be able to help those who wish to feel better with themselves.

Thus, I pursued my career as a clinician. From its beginnings in my natal city Barcelona, all the way to Scotland.

Below you can find the updated list of my qualifications and certifications of interest:

  • Degree in Psychology at the University of Barcelona (2012)
  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy at Institut Mensalus, Barcelona (2015)
  • Advanced Diploma in Relational Counselling (SCQF Level 11) at The Spark, Glasgow (2022)
  • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 by Evergreen (2025)

Based on the training and experience gathered over the years in both countries, I consider myself an Integrative Psychotherapist. I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs of my clients.

My focus is to help my clients connect with themselves, building up an embodied awareness to facilitate a better understanding of who they are and what they would like to change, promoting their strengths, working through the difficulties experienced.

If you feel that we could be a good fit to work together and reach your therapeutic goals, do not hesitate to contact me, please.

Chris’s Profile

Chris, CBT therapist in Stirling
Qualified CBT Therapist and Counsellor in Stirling, Scotland

Hey, I’m Chris, a qualified CBT therapist and counsellor located in Stirling, Scotland. In my early adulthood, I experienced firsthand how transformative working with a therapist can be.

That experience stayed with me, and I knew that one day I wanted to be in a role where I could support people in the same way.

Some years later, I felt ready to make a career change and began a new chapter in my life, one focused on helping others to overcome their own struggles and difficulties.

Since then, I continue to learn, grow, and develop as a practitioner each day, always feeling privileged to support people through their own journeys.

Please find my qualifications listed below:

  • COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills (2023)
  • Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Groupwork (SCQF Level 11) at ACT Counselling & Training Services (2025)

I trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. If you’re not familiar with what that means, that’s completely okay — it’s simply one way to understand difficulties and work with them in therapy, with a strong focus on how our behaviour, feelings, and thoughts relate to each other.

In practice, I work in an integrative way, meaning I tailor the therapy to suit you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m also a big fan of mindfulness and meditation practices, and can incorporate these into our therapy if you wish.

I know how much courage it can take to reach out for support, especially when things feel uncertain or overwhelming. But rest assured, I’m here to support you along the way.
